By popular request, Rhoda will run an Introduction to Embroidery Workshop and an Introduction to Goldwork Workshop from her Mill House this autumn.

An Introduction to Embroidery Workshop will introduce you to a range of stitches and show you examples of techniques to help you decide what to try next. A design and all materials are supplied for you to work a sampler of embroidery stitches.

An Introduction to Goldwork Workshop introduces you to simple padding, and basic purl, check and Japanese threads. Learn how to couch down the metal threads to create various effects.

A Progress with Embroidery Workshop carries on from the introduction workshop and introduces new stitches and techniques. It is suitable for all types of embroidery including Goldwork.

You will be supplied with a design on fabric, metal threads, couching thread, beeswax, needles and instructions.

All workshops will include a delicious light lunch, refreshments and materials required for an embroidery sampler.

Workshops start at 10.00am until 4.00pm.

Workshops cost £75.00 per class.
